So I was right yesterday. If you do it fast, you can achieve more.
I did 12 chin-ups today and that's a major record for me considering barely a year ago, I was doing none and then peaked at 4 for a while until a few weeks back when I started training my chin-ups and pull-ups once again.
Update: Another fuck yeah! I did 6 pull-ups this evening, beating my previous record of 5 pull-ups. Another awesome day.
